Summary of Position
The Product Manager - Talent Solutions is responsible for managing all activities that contribute to the success of talent-focused products and services, including hiring and training solutions for financial professionals, sales leaders and managers, home office sales professionals, life insurance agency models, and home office employees. This role ensures membership satisfaction, operational integrity, and profitability of the talent solutions portfolio. Responsibilities include deploying product management best practices, leading development initiatives, engaging with members and external partners, and understanding market trends in talent acquisition and development. Prior experience with international sales training is highly desirable.
Essential Functions
Product Management
  • Collaborate across the organization and with external partners to understand drivers of adoption for hiring and training solutions, revenue trends, and member feedback.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in talent development, including during member engagement and sales processes to drive adoption and revenue.
  • Manage financial results and profitability of the talent solutions portfolio; conduct regular pricing and ROI assessments.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of talent development trends, industry best practices, and competitor offerings.
  • Build and manage relationships with external training vendors and technology partners; negotiate contracts and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Engage regularly with members and sales organizations to gather feedback on hiring and training needs.
  • Leverage data and research to inform product enhancements and new offerings.

Product Development
  • Lead research initiatives to identify emerging talent needs and global training trends, including international sales training requirements.
  • Assess viability of new talent solutions or enhancements to existing offerings.
  • Manage innovation processes to design and deliver impactful hiring and training programs; develop business cases and ensure alignment with organizational strategies.
  • Ensure solutions meet adoption and profitability targets and deliver measurable improvements in talent acquisition and development.
  • Use instructional design best practices to design learning programs, develop engaging and meaningful learning content, and author materials within learning content management systems.
  • Develop go-to-market plans, including integrations with various learning management systems.

Project Management
  • Oversee implementation of new talent solutions from concept through market release.
  • Establish milestones, manage timelines, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and coaching to implementation teams; incorporate feedback into product design.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to develop go-to-market strategies for talent solutions.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of product management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services and/or insurance industry, with a focus on talent development or training.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong expertise in hiring and training solutions; familiarity with agency models and home office structures.
  • Experience developing training programs using learning content management systems and delivering through learning management systems.
  • Experience delivering facilitated learning programs desirable.
  • Prior experience with international sales training is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to leverage research and data for decision-making.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute multi-year business plans.
