Your Mission: Focus on driving monetizable benefits through the Omni Channel Customer Insights (OCCI), our centralized customer interaction repository. Activate OCCI data to improve business processes and customer experiences and continue to deepen integrations to build 360-degree customer views. Use cases include enabling connected desktop customer profile, exploring micro and macro customer journeys, and identifying key friction points in the customers experience driving new capabilities to our value stream owners.
Responsibilities will include:
  • In partnership with Product Leadership, articulate long-term product vision and roadmap for OCCI.
  • Own multi-channel customer interaction data strategy by ingesting and connecting signals across channels to customer identity and intent.
  • Establish and maintain foundational data assets that power enterprise analytics, marketing, and operational decision-making.
  • Drive integration across customer data ecosystems (e.g., Customer Hub, CEP, marketing platforms) to enable a unified 360° customer view.
  • Translate ambiguous business needs into actionable delivery, refining vague asks into clear, prioritized, backlog-ready work.
  • Communicate business value of backlog items to development team to ensure alignment on priorities; continually assess and adjust priorities to balance capacity and value.
  • Determine goals/user acceptance criteria for work delivered in sprints, guide team through analysis of risks and issues to inform options.
  • Partner with delivery team to inform PI Planning and refine user stories for delivery with goal of maximizing OCCI's value.
  • Advocate for customer data through storytelling and education
  • Lead cross-functional use case ideation and alignment sessions, partnering with stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather use cases w/ measurable benefit; maintain a backlog to feed features prioritized for release.
  • Establish and maintain benefits measurement and tracking for overall customer data efforts in partnership with Director, Customer Data Agile Product Manager
  • Influencing enterprise stakeholders on value and benefits that drive investment.

Qualifications:
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders across multiple lines of business and leadership levels
  • Self-starter with strong execution skills, able to diagnose opportunities, develop a strategy, and drive forward work independently that aligns to leadership vision
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence; ability to simplify complex concepts into an understandable narrative for stakeholders
  • Proven ability to define and articulate long-term product vision and roadmap in partnership with senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ownership of multi-channel data strategies spanning digital, contact center, and operational channels
  • Strong presentation skills this is more than PowerPoint skills, but is a comfort in telling a story and influencing audiences "off the cuff" and with little preparation
  • Experience in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFE), with prior Product Ownership experience leading multiple teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to convert vague, unstructured business asks into clear, actionable work
    • Build and manage a prioritized backlog
    • Translate strategy into incremental deliverables (features, stories, epics)
    • Partner in PI Planning and sprint execution
  • Balance between technical (data) and business (assessing impact) acumen
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Collaborative and inclusive

Bonus Skills:
  • Knowledge of data and Ops processes across multiple segments
  • Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, or other data querying tools
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative solutions
  • Hands-on experience driving integration across complex data ecosystems (e.g., CDPs, data lakes, marketing platforms)
  • Experience establishing and scaling foundational data assets and reusable data products

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
