Job description

Essential Job Functions 

With a high degree of autonomy: 

  • Refine raw product ideas and user journeys into high-quality acceptance criteria for development teams, coordinating across engineering, customer success, quality assurance, and sales and marketing. 
  • Partner with the leadership team to define and execute the feature roadmap for your product area. 
  • Create wireframes and functional mockups for new features to communicate concepts to business and technical teams. 
  • Market feature releases through external communication material and drive adoption. 
  • Conduct customer interviews to gather direct feedback.
  • Analyze usage data to measure product utility and identify areas of focus. 
  • Triage new feature ideas from customer engagement and from within the business. 
  • Own a core product area end to end, leading planning efforts when other groups are involved. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

                  Other Skills & Abilities 

                  • Strong working knowledge of Jira or a similar project management tool. 
                  • Ability to work with available data tools, including SQL and BI tools. 
                  • Experience managing feature release schedules and announcements. 
                  • Familiarity with designing and managing APIs and integrations as part of a product offering. 

                        Education & Experience 

                        • Bachelor's degree or better (required). 
                        • 4+ years of experience in product management, product engineering, or customer success, in an environment focused on selling a software product or suite of products. 
                        • Prior experience with B2B SaaS products; logistics industry experience is a plus.
                        • Experience working within agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum).
                        • Demonstrable experience interacting directly with customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams. 
                        • Demonstrable experience translating unrefined concepts into executable work. 
                        • Demonstrable experience with UI/UX design (wireframes, storyboards, etc.).

                        Physical Requirements 

                        • This is a remote position 
                        • Job requires the ability to use vision, adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen.
                        • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
                        • Job will require presence at the assigned work location.
