Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS with strong coursework in a quantitative field, such as Engineering, in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field), or equivalent years of work experience.

Work Experiences:

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst role, ideally focused on marketing, customer analytics, or e-commerce performance.
  • Experience with retail analytics + omnichannel will be a plus.

Skills:

  • Ability to work well under pressure while consistently meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as effectively contribute to a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet multiple deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, with the ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working in cloud-based data environments (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Quantum Metric.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and analyze A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Proven strength in telling stories with data and delivering clear, concise recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft Office program experience, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:

  • Experimentation & A/B Testing: Design and analyze rigorous A/B and multivariate tests across marketing campaigns, e-commerce experiences, and customer touchpoints. Guide stakeholders on test planning, sample sizing, and success metrics to ensure statistically valid insights. Translate test results into clear, compelling stories and actionable recommendations to optimize engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Web & Business Analytics: Analyze digital and transactional customer behavior to evaluate customer interactions across platforms. Deliver insights that measure the effectiveness of omnichannel sales strategies and uncover friction points in the customer journey. Craft data narratives that connect tactical observations to business impact, driving cross-functional alignment and action.
  • Data Product Ownership: Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data requirements and build scalable, cloud-based analytics solutions (e.g., dashboards, data marts). Empower stakeholders through self-serve tools and reporting solutions that support decision-making and operational visibility. Ensure high data integrity and transparency in all outputs and documentation.
  • Agentic Analytics & Recommendation Systems: Contribute to the development of agentic analytics frameworks that automate insight generation and deliver next-best-action recommendations. Support the evolution from reactive to proactive analytics through intelligent tooling and AI/ML enablement. Drive adoption of decision intelligence tools by demonstrating their value through impactful storytelling and use-case alignment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across business units, including product, finance, marketing, operations, and IT, to understand business needs, define requirements, and align data science solutions with business objectives.
  • Data Visualization & Communication: Create compelling visualizations and presentations that effectively communicate complex analysis, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Lead by example to build a culture of accountability and rigor to substantiate proven business impact with data, providing mentorship and guidance to other analysts on the team.
  • Innovation: Keep current with technical and industry developments, tools, and technologies in the field of data analytics, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
