Our client seeks a Senior Product Owner / Product Manager to lead vision, strategy, and delivery of enterprise data and business solutions in a financial services environment. The role partners with cross-functional teams to define product strategy and roadmap, manage backlogs and Agile delivery, align stakeholders, and drive execution. Exposure to loans, regulatory reporting, and credit is helpful.

Rate: $65.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Define, refine, and align on product vision, strategy, priorities, scope, and roadmap with stakeholders.
  • Lead development and execution of the product vision and roadmap aligned to business goals.
  • Prioritize initiatives and define scope for Program Increments, sprints, and MVPs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies proactively.
  • Develop and maintain a prioritization framework for delivery initiatives.
  • Prepare and refine product backlog and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute.
  • Plan and create initiatives, features, epics, and stories in JIRA.
  • Communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and provide regular status updates.
  • Navigate stakeholder dynamics and manage expectations.
  • Drive positive change through technical innovation and continuous improvement.
Experience Requirements:
  • 6+ years in Product Management, Scrum, or Agile. Alternatively, 10+ years without a bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven leadership of agile data product delivery using Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban.
  • Domain knowledge in banking, loan products, and regulatory reporting preferred.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes, including AWS or Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of technologies and trends impacting financial services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree; or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience.
