We are growing and so is our data processing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and timely entering of payment information to appropriate patient accounts. Developing and distributes appropriate month end reports with previous experience posting insurance payments is helpful but not required. Possessing a good understanding of medical insurance and payor contracts as well as a knowledge and understanding of OSMC’s policies and procedures, including HIPAA privacy compliance will be required. A strong ten-key calculation is required for the clerical aspects of processing calculations, balance and reconcile figures and make changes accurately.

This position is working independently accurately entering patient payment information in the computer, processes electronic fund transfer payments, distributing payments to the correct encounters, running regularly scheduled and special request jobs, printing, preparing, and distributing to appropriate departments in a timely manner. The ideal person will be responsible for processes transfers, corrections, and adjustments as well as opening and sorting mail, delivering to correct department.
