Job description

IT Data Processing Technician

Fort Worth, TX | Onsite | Monday-Friday | Daytime Schedule

Credit Systems International, Inc. (CSII) is looking for a detail-oriented and technically minded IT Data Processing Technician to join our Information Technology team in Fort Worth.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with data, troubleshooting problems, learning new technology, and finding ways to make processes more accurate and efficient. You'll work with client and operational data across multiple systems while supporting client implementations, technical projects, testing, and automation initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Process high-volume client and operational data, including imports, exports, file conversions, transformations, and data loads.
  • Review and validate data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Research and resolve processing errors, rejected records, discrepancies, and other exceptions.
  • Complete daily processing activities and assist with client data reconciliations.
  • Manage secure file transfers, including SFTP transmissions.
  • Support new and existing client implementations, including file layouts, data mappings, transformations, and processing configurations.
  • Assist with testing data-processing programs, workflows, file transformations, and automated processes.
  • Troubleshoot processing and technical issues and work with appropriate teams to resolve them.
  • Maintain technical and processing documentation.
  • Participate in technology projects, system changes, automation initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, or automate existing workflows.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with data, files, spreadsheets, and multiple computer systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to research issues and work toward appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet processing deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems, technologies, and processes.
  • Sound judgment and willingness to ask questions or seek clarification when needed.
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

  • Data processing, data imports/exports, or file conversions
  • Excel, CSV, delimited files, or other data file formats
  • CRM systems or other data-driven applications
  • SFTP or secure file-transfer processes
  • Data mapping or file layouts
  • Data reconciliation and troubleshooting
  • Technical testing, automation, scripting, or programming

You don't need to know every system or technology we use. We're looking for someone with strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn.

Schedule

This is a full-time, onsite position in Fort Worth, Texas. Due to month-end processing responsibilities, reliable availability around month-end and the beginning of each month is required.

Benefits & Perks

We know the right fit is about more than the work itself. CSII offers benefits and a schedule designed to support our team, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Attendance bonus program
  • Monday-Friday daytime schedule
  • No regularly scheduled evenings or weekends
  • Casual yet professional work environment
  • Additional company-sponsored benefits

Employment Requirements

Employment with CSII is contingent upon satisfactory completion of applicable pre-employment screening, which may include a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

As a member of the CSII team, you'll be expected to review, acknowledge, and follow company policies and procedures, including requirements related to confidentiality, data security, compliance, and professional conduct.

The responsibilities outlined in this posting represent the primary functions of the position and may evolve as business needs change.

Why Join CSII?

At CSII, you'll have the opportunity to build experience across data processing, client implementations, troubleshooting, testing, automation, and process improvement while continuing to develop your technical skills.

If you're someone who enjoys digging into data, solving problems, and learning how systems and processes work, we'd like to hear from you.
