Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary:
The Ellis Center seeks a detail-oriented and analytically driven Graduate Assistant to support summer operations. This role will focus on student record review, reporting, and process improvement initiatives that contribute to student success and operational efficiency. The position offers hands-on experience with project planning and automation/development.
This is an in-person role and will work ~20 hours per week, Monday - Thursday on the Villanova campus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the review and verification of rising seniors' graduation eligibility
  • Support development of annual analytics, reports, and data summaries
  • Contribute to process automation efforts to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist with project planning and tracking for operational initiatives
  • Collaborate with Ellis Center staff on data-driven decision-making projects
  • Answer phones, direct calls, and assist with office coverage

Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled graduate student in Computing Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related analytical field strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with reporting and data visualization concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
