This is an onsite Nashville based role. The role will be onsite M-F 6am-3pm with overtime.

Position Summary

The IT Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in managing health information and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of patient data. This position supports a division of HCA.

Parallon provides full-service revenue cycle management, or total patient account resolution, for HCA Healthcare. Our services include scheduling, registration, insurance verification, hospital billing, revenue integrity, collections, payment compliance, credentialing, health information management, customer service, payroll and physician billing.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist Manager/team in managing information effectively to improve department efficiency and performance
  • Well versed in hospital revenue cycle operations
  • Assist in translating business reporting requirements
  • Proactively review and provide data analysis
  • Plays a role in the data standardization process and helps develop, maintain, and automate tools and systems to support department monitoring
  • Assists with monitoring daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Builds a strong understanding Revenue Cycle operations and technologies as well as HCA enterprise technologies
  • Strong attention to detail in order to ensure the accuracy of the data
  • Works quickly and efficiently in order to meet the needs of the customer particularly when faced with tight turnaround times?

    Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Accounting, Finance or related Business-related majors
  • Seven (7) years of job costing, revenue and profitability data
  • Expert level user of Excel – creating and utilizing formulas, pivot tables
  • Able to work in fast paced environment with ability to respond to change in priorities
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude; customer service orientation
