Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for an Outdoor Adventures Graduate Assistant. The Outdoor Adventures GA will work 20 hours per week assisting the Outdoor Adventures Coordinator with all aspects of the program. The bulk of the GA's role with be assisting with the four main areas of OA, the Climbing Wall, Pine Valley Rope Course, Adventure Trips, and Equipment Rentals. The GA will also assist with OA marketing efforts and daily administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in ensuring safe and efficient Climbing Wall operations
  • Assist in ensuring safe and efficient Pine Valley Ropes Course operations
  • Assist in ensuring safe and efficient Adventure Trips operations
  • Assist in ensuring safe and efficient Equipment Rental operations
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including but not limited to marketing and data sorting

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Must have a passion for the outdoors and a desire to learn more about the industry.
  • Must have a love for people and a desire to help our staff and participants grow and develop in healthy ways.

  • Must be a UNG graduate student able to work 20 in person hours per week.
