Job description

Overview
BlueWater Federal is looking for a Joint Data Network Officer to support United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) at MacDill AFB.
As a JDNO, you will oversee various C2 systems, using situational awareness synchronization tools and software applications such as Agile Client, Maven Smart System, MCS COP, and/or other systems, to manage the USSOCOM COP
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for joint all-domain network operations to support mission objectives supporting OPLANS, CONPLANS, EXORDS, and other taskings.
  • Coordinate the integration of multi-domain networks to ensure interoperability and secure communications in all mission environments.
  • Monitor and assess network performance, identifying and mitigating risks to operational effectiveness.
  • Facilitate the integration of systems and technologies across land, air, sea, space, SOF, and cyber domains.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure seamless data sharing and operational synchronization.
  • Support the development of joint all-domain command and control (JADC2) frameworks.
  • Provide technical expertise and operational support to military, civilian and contractor personnel and leadership.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in network operations and multi-domain integration.
  • Coordinate with Geographic Combatant Commands on the integration of SOF Peculiar data sets to support Information Exchange Requirements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in network operations or multi-domain integration.
  • Must have an active Top Secret / SCI.
  • Proven track record of supporting joint military operations or working in a defense-related environment.
  • Successful completion of the Joint Data Network Staff Course (JDNSC).
  • Successful completion of the Joint All-Domain Network Planners Course (JDN-201).
  • Strong understanding of joint all-domain operations and CJADC2 principles.
  • Expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity, and data integration.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) policies, procedures, and operational frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and cloud computing in military applications is desired
