Job Role: Data Migration Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Need 10+ Years of Experience only!
Data Migration Specialist
Extensive SQL and T-SQL experience to include tables, views, optimization, queries, etc. Demonstrated ability to do analytical research using SQL on large data sets.
Knowledge of Salesforce to include data migrations, data loads, integration tools, extracts, and basic platform architectural understanding.
Demonstrated ability to write Data Factory solutions and pipelines to move data between Salesforce and Azure SQL Database, including type casting, transforms, etc.
Demonstrated Data Migration experience to include analysis, testing, data validation, and extensive data count and data point comparison.
Experience developing test cases and implementing test suites through repeatable solutions.
Analyst with experience defining requirements, capturing dependencies, specific to data management and implementing solutions that meet the needs of the business.
Analyst experience testing for and identifying issues. Knowledgeable about how data validation, migration, and cleansing should be performed.
ETL experience, including staging, transformation, validation, across technologies listed above.
Technology experience:
Salesforce
SQL; T-SQL
Azure Data Factory
Azure SQL Server
Role:
Candidate will be responsible for moving data from source and target Salesforce orgs into an Azure SQL instance and performing record count and data point comparisons. The comparison will be intended to validate the result of a 3rd party migration on an ongoing basis and will include multiple migration efforts, analyzing the data migration success, identifying issues during iterative migrations, and confirming the success of transformations made to the data by the 3rd party. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the SQL and Azure spaces with solid experience on Salesforce, including a knowledge of limitations of the platform related to data movement and data characteristics inherent to the platform.
