A Data Migration Consultant is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the transfer of data between systems, databases, or storage formats. They assess data quality, design migration strategies, and ensure that all data is accurately and securely moved with minimal downtime or data loss. Their role often includes identifying potential risks, testing migrations, and troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless transitions for organizations upgrading or consolidating their IT systems.
