Finance Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Data Analyst with strong SAP FI and financial data migration expertise to join our SAP AMS Team. This role focuses on analysing and engineering finance data based on SAP FI configuration. The position acts as a Finance Process and Data Transformation Lead, coordinating closely with Finance and IT teams to gather requirements, design data transformations, for SAP S4HANA implementations. A key responsibility will be supporting SAP FI data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration across finance systems.

Description - Financial Data Analysis & Reporting Analyse and interpret financial data including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centers, P&L, and Balance Sheet. Develop analytical models for Financial Position, Profit & Loss, FX valuation, and IFRS13 fair value assessments. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial data analysis and reconciliation.

SAP FI & Data Migration Work with SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO integration) to understand data structures and business processes. Support SAP FI data migration projects, including: Data extraction from legacy systems Data mapping to SAP FI target structures Data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation Trial loads, cutover support, and post-migration validation Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to ensure accurate financial data migration and compliance.

Experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in financial data analysis, data engineering, or finance systems. Hands-on experience with SAP FI data structures and financial processes. Exposure to data migration projects, preferably involving SAP FI.

Language - English – Fluent Portuguese / Spanish – Good to have

Skills - SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting; CO integration knowledge is a plus). Data Migration: data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and cutover support. Advanced Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query). SQL for querying and managing financial datasets.
