Job Description:
Currently we have no architectural map of our data flows from source to all of our systems. We need someone to go through, top to bottom, of all of our source data and map this out, calling out quality issues, process issues, ETL issues, among other things. Also partitioning/database triggering and other core SQL/BI expertise is required It is a large data mapping project and the right candidate will embrace the technical skills to run this project on their own with minimal guidance from team.
  • Perform data mapping, transformation, exploration and BI feasibility studies
  • Acquire data from primary and secondary sources through various connectors or APIs with the knowledge and purpose of underlying data structures.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in simple and complex data sets
  • Apply statistical methods to data and generate insights
  • Collect, document, present, and convey insights, evidence and findings
  • Work with DB and BI developers in unit testing views and stored procedures
  • Perform data validation and support report validation
  • Scope and plan on tasks and assess proper estimate of time and effort
  • Stay current with the latest data processing and analysis technology
