Magnaflow is a leading manufacturer and supplier based in Oceanside, CA of premium products to the automotive aftermarket industry such as catalytic converters, performance exhaust and replacement exhaust. Through the Camburg division in Huntington Beach, CA. Magnaflow also supplies race-inspired performance suspension products and vehicle uplifting services, Magnaflow is focused on future growth through both new business development and new product introduction. Salary Range: 

$109,706-$132,100USD annually

*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.

What you will be doing: 

The Data Conversion Analyst is responsible for preparing, transforming, validating, and loading data from legacy systems into IFS Cloud ERP. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity and successful ERP cutover.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work with business partners to identify and define data conversion requirements, define level 0 (static) data mapping and changes

  • Work with finance to define and implement any accounting structure changes from source system to new system

  • Develop and maintain data conversion templates and mapping documentation for data migration from legacy systems (IFS8, HighJump, etc. Oracle based) to IFS Cloud structures

  • Extract, cleanse, and transform data using scripts and data tools

  • Support testing cycles by providing accurate and timely data sets

  • Execute data loads into IFS Cloud using approved tools and processes

  • Validate and reconcile converted data to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Maintain and execute the master data conversion plan for ERP cutover

  • Identify data issues and work with business teams to resolve inconsistencies

Requirements:B.S. in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in data conversion, transformation and migration

What you need:

  • Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills

  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.)

  • Experience with databases and database query languages (MS SQL, Oracle)

  • Experience working with ERP data structures (Products, BOM, Customers, Vendors, Transactions, etc.)

  • Strong problem-solving, communication skills and attention to details

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with ERP data conversion projects

  • Experience with IFS Cloud or similar ERP platforms

  • Background in data governance or data management

  • Background working with Manufacturing systems data

  • Background working with WMS systems data
