DESCRIPTION
From ergonomic lift-assist solutions, that help manufacturers transfer raw material and large components to points of assembly in factories, to turn key fully integrated controls that empower manufacturing companies to identify parts, confirm work sequences, and monitor product quality, our team loves creativity and ingenuity. We work closely with our customers to ensure their design to installation experience at Invio Automation exceptional.
Our design team works with the largest companies in the world to transform how things are made. Having a passion for examining “the way it’s always been done” and seeking out a new and better way is a leadership trait we value. This position requires a working knowledge and an understanding of 3D models, layout drawings, and engineering specifications. The Data Management Coordinator works with our design team to ensure the necessary data for our projects is accurate and in the proper state of address. A Data Manager works with our customers to ensure our Engineering department has the data required to design our tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meet project timelines by communicating with customers to gather the necessary CAD data for designing tools
  • Ensure the required data for projects is stored in the correct directory
  • Review data to ensure it is usable in the CAD environment
  • Convert data, if necessary, to be used in SolidWorks or NX
  • Create environment files for the Engineering department
  • Work with customer to verify the build level or state of address of the product for the equipment being designed
  • Work concurrently on one or more projects of moderately complex scope
  • Manage the location of stored data
  • Collaborate as a productive member on large projects
  • Schedule activities to complete assigned tasks and projects, communicate and document requisite information per established Invio Automation policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate Engineering professionalism in all activities and provide efficient service to customers
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Experience with various 3D software programs, specifically SolidWorks and NX preferred.
  • Working knowledge of and basic understanding of 3D models, layout drawings and basic mechanical understanding
  • Must be able to successfully communicate with internal and external customers who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
  • Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
  • Must possess planning and organizational skills
  • Must be able to take direction and effectively complete tasks in a high-pressure environment
EDUCATION
Prefer a two year degree in design, mechanical engineering, manufacturing or a related technical field. Non-degreed applicants should have at least (2) years of related experience. Must have basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office.
