Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, implement and maintain leading-edge analytics system taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks
  • Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-targe mappings and information-model specifications documents for data sets
  • โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹Work directly with management to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis with reporting components from multiple databases
  • Proactive analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives operations performance
  • Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and solution performance
  • Create best-practice reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth thorough complex dataset analysis

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or statistics
  • Three (3) or more years of experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques
  • Technical writing experience including queries, reports and presentations
  • Practical experience in statistical analysis through use of business intelligence tools and software
  • Experience with multiple database and geospatial applications, including PostgreSQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize data trends and anomalies in a dynamic business environment.
  • Ability to create user-friendly dashboards and reports for interpretation by others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation, planning, organization and leadership skills.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing work environment and work schedules.
