The Accessions Information Environment (AIE) is the Army's 21st-century talent acquisition capability, modernizing and standardizing accessions enterprise talent acquisition Army-wide. This Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solution is a multi-network, multi-device accessible, secure solution hosted in Salesforce GovCloud+ and Amazon Web Service (AWS) Cloud Impact Level (IL) 4 commercial cloud environment.  In concert with systems modernization across the enterprise, AIE will originate the Army Soldier record for management in systems downstream. AIE will deliver a fully integrated enterprise system that implements new business practices and modernizes recruiting capabilities that meet all Army manning requirements.

The Integration Manager, Senior, oversees test automation activities and is specifically responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing automated testing frameworks and integrating them seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines. This role ensures product quality, system reliability, and rapid delivery by combining strong automation engineering skills with deep integration expertise for minimal defects. The engineer collaborates closely with development, DevSecOps, and product teams to create a robust, scalable, and efficient testing ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and maintain modular, scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing 
  • Build and maintain automated regression, smoke, and functional test suites using modern tools and languages 
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows to ensure continuous validation of builds and deployments 
  • Create and execute integration tests across microservices, APIs, databases, and thirdparty systems 
  • Oversee test data, environment configuration, and environment stability to support reliable automation 
  • Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues 
  • Establish and enforce best practices for test automation, coding standards, and quality processes 
  • Track automation coverage and performance; implement improvements to increase reliability 
  • Collaborate Across Teams with developers, DevSecOps, and product managers to align testing strategy with release goals 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • MA/MS degree or BS with equivalent years of experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Must be SAFe certified (SAFe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) is desired) or agree to complete training and obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Salesforce, Mulesoft, and Provar (desired) 
  • Experience testing APIs 
  • Understanding of messaging systems and distributed architectures for integration testing 
  • Ability to diagnose issues across application layers 
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms 
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments 
  • Possess interpersonal skills and collaborative style
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Shall have the required skills, training, and experience necessary to use the following software program(s): Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook), Microsoft Products (SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, and Teams).
