SOFTWARE INTEGRATION ENGINEER IV
Transform technology into opportunity as a Software Integration Engineer at GDIT. Shape whats next for mission-critical government projects while shaping whats next for your engineering career.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Software Integration Engineer, the work youll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role in providing expertise in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Integration Engineer must have:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software
Technical skills: HPC architecture knowledge of HPC Ecosystem including compute, network, memory, and storage components
Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
US citizenship required
Role requirements: DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required

Must be proficient with the following:

  • Linux Shell scripting

  • Object Oriented Programming Language (C, C++, Java)

  • Python Programming

  • GCC compiler

  • Multi-threaded software

  • Parallel processing

  • CORBA, J2EE

  • Perl or JavaScript

  • Working knowledge of Configuration Management toolsStructured troubleshooting skills

  • System installation and working with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software

The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
