Job description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an ITAD Tech 1 (Material Audit & Data Entry Role) in Clackamas, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality operational standards. With a strong focus on responsible electronics lifecycle management, they pride themselves on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in all areas of their operations.

Key Responsibilities:
· Perform detailed material audits of incoming and outgoing consumer electronics and IT assets to ensure accurate tracking and documentation.
· Accurately enter asset data into computer systems and mobile applications, maintaining high levels of precision and consistency.
· Verify serial numbers, model information, and device condition during intake and processing stages.
· Assist in organizing, labeling, and staging electronic materials for testing, refurbishment, recycling, or disposition.
· Maintain accurate digital records of inventory movement throughout the IT asset disposition (ITAD) process.
· Follow established procedures for data security, chain-of-custody, and asset tracking compliance.
· Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and inventory accuracy.
· Identify and report discrepancies, damaged items, or data inconsistencies to supervisors promptly.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while adhering to all safety and operational guidelines.
· Support continuous improvement efforts by maintaining efficiency and accuracy in all data entry and audit tasks.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in data entry, warehouse, or electronics environments is a plus.
· Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
· Comfortable using computers, tablets, and mobile devices for tracking and data input.
· General understanding or interest in consumer electronics (laptops, desktops, phones, etc.) preferred.
· Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a structured, fast-paced environment.
· Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods as needed.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency.
· Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious work ethic.
