Job Overview

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for reviewing source documents, transcribing paper source to electronic CRFs, creating edit check documents for EDC quality control of laboratory data, coordinating with responsible staff to complete data entry per monitor schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the accurate transcription of study data from original source documents to electronic data capture systems.
  • Review of EDC if data entry is performed by a different team personnel.
  • Completes data queries within 72 hours of receipt from study sponsors.
  • Adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and Pharmaron's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Coordinating with responsible staff to complete data entry per monitor schedule.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associates / equivalency (60 or more college credit hours) in related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with clinical databases like Medidata Rave, REDCap, etc.
  • Prior Knowledge of Phase I clinical trials helpful
