Empire Workforce Solutions is looking for a File Clerk for the a client in the city of Compton CA. Please call 310-982-6529 if you are interested in this position.
Position Details:
o Location: Compton CA
o Schedule: Monday - Friday
o Time: 8:30AM - 5PM
o Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (with relevant experience)
Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented File Clerk to assist the Human Resources department with scanning, organizing, and maintaining employee documents and records. This is an entry-level opportunity that does not require extensive previous experience. The ideal candidate should have basic computer skills, be able to read and write in English, type accurately, and feel comfortable uploading and organizing documents in shared folders.

This position will begin as a temporary assignment with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Scan physical HR documents and convert them into digital files.
  • Upload scanned documents into designated shared folders.
  • Accurately name, organize, and file electronic documents according to established procedures.
  • Review scanned documents to ensure they are clear, complete, and uploaded to the correct location.
  • Maintain organized physical and electronic employee records.
  • Handle employee and company documents with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Perform basic data entry and document-related administrative tasks.
  • Assist the HR department with additional filing, scanning, and clerical duties as needed.
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy while processing a high volume of documents.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic typing and computer skills.
  • Ability to scan, save, rename, and upload documents to shared folders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
