Hourly Rate: $19.00

Schedule: Full-Time, M-F, 9 am to 6 pm

Position Summary:

Approved Transportation and Warehousing, Ltd. is seeking a qualified Data Entry Clerk to support our Accounting Team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has at least one year of data entry or administrative experience in a high-volume environment. This position will report to Administrative Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enter data into the company's database systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Catalog and organize data for easy retrieval and reference.
  • Convert physical records into electronic filing systems.
  • Retrieve and provide data as requested.
  • Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary.
  • Review data for deficiencies, discrepancies, or errors and correct them when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity.
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
  • Uploading documents into a database.
  • Sort and organize hard-copy documents after electronic filing.
  • Receive, screen, and route visitors and drivers using the Axis Companion.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Basic accounting knowledge and excellent data entry skills required.
  • Strong data entry and keyboarding skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Operate common office equipment, like scanners and printers
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Excellent attendance

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • 1+ year of data entry or administrative experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and typing on a computer
