Job description

We are a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP); building automation; and industrial piping contractor. Our team offers a variety of MEP and process piping services, including design-build engineering for new construction and renovation, installation and specialty construction, maintenance, and air balancing, start-up, and energy efficiency services.


DeBra-Kuempel is seeking aPurchasing Data Entry Specialistfor our Cincinnati, Ohio location. This role supports a dynamic team of seven in a fast-paced environment, handling high-volume data entry and vendor communications. The specialist will be responsible for collecting all necessary information to issue purchase orders for Field Technicians, Service Managers, Account Managers, and Project Managers across all offices, ensuring timely and accurate entry into our procurement systems. 


  • Accurately enter large volumes of alphanumeric data, including purchase orders, subcontracts, and change order requests, intoEdge, a web-based procurement system 
  • Collect and input necessary information fornew vendor and subcontractor setup 
  • Conductinvoice research, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely entry 
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal staff at all organizational levels, including management 
  • Contact vendors to collect outstanding invoices 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager 

  • High school diploma or equivalentrequired 
  • Two (2) or more years of data entry experience 
  • Proven ability to managehigh volumes of invoices and purchase order requestsefficiently and accurately 
  • Strongself-motivationand ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach 
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office applications(Teams, Outlook, Word, OneNote, Excel) 
  • Familiarity withAdobe Acrobatis a plus 
  • Minimumtyping speed of 40 WPM 
  • Validdriver’s licenserequired
