Job Description
  • Performs routine clerical duties including typing correspondence, records, and reports; maintaining student scheduling records, answering telephone and processing mail, must be proficient with data entry and Microsoft Office.
  • Copies data and compiles records and reports.
  • Operates office machines such as typewriter, adding, calculating, fax and duplicating machines.
  • Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail.
  • Files documents and maintains filing system.
  • Posts information to records.
  • Answers telephone and answers questions concerning the organization or department, or refers persons to another source of information.
  • May be required to relieve Receptionist and other staff.
  • Follows all guidelines, policies, and procedures set forth by the Department of Labor and the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or General Education Diploma and one year related experience and/or training .
  • Experience working with youth and adults ages 16-24 in an educational or training setting is preferred .
  • Data entry experience.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
