The Opportunity

We'reย looking for a Data and Analytics Engineer III who brings both technical excellence and systems thinking to help us scale our data infrastructure and insights delivery.ย You'llย lead the development of robust pipelines, intuitive dashboards, and analytics tooling that directlyย supportsย our clinical, research, and operational priorities.ย You'llย act as a thought partner to our data science and business teams, help elevate our engineering standards, andย leverageย emerging technologies including the use of AI to improve efficiency and impact.ย 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, low-ego environment where data makes a difference for patients.ย 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, andย maintainย scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that support cross-functional data needsย ย 
  • Build, deploy, andย optimizeย analytical dashboards and other reporting tools to support strategic decision-makingย ย 
  • Write well-structured, testable code in Python, R, and SQL to support analytics workflowsย ย 
  • Lead the development and best practices of version control, documentation, and coding standardsย ย 
  • Partner with data scientists to bring analytics products from prototype to productionย ย 
  • Identifyย and integrate AI-driven tools to enhance data processing and reporting capabilitiesย ย 
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvementย ย 

Qualifications and Key Success Factors

  • Bachelor's degreeย required;ย Master'sย degree preferred in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplinesย ย 
  • 7+ years post-internship hands-on experience in a data engineering, analytics engineering, or data science role in the pharmaceutical industryย ย 
  • Proficient in Python, R, SQL, with experience operationalizing analytics at scaleย ย 
  • Strong experience with Git and collaborative development workflowsย ย 
  • Experience designing dataย architectureย andย maintainingย complex pipelinesย ย 
  • Familiarity with Databricks and other cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure)ย ย 
  • Experience in applying AI to streamline or augment data workflowsย ย 
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work across technical and non-technical teamsย ย 
  • Experience working with patient-level data or in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA,ย GxP, FDA) preferredย ย
