Job description
What you will do
Would you like to help us build tomorrow?
Are you passionate about customer success? Would you enjoy working with a team of enterprising people who motivate themselves and those around them to develop personally and professionally?
Our organization is built by people and great teamwork. We are a truly global company, and we believe in the advantage of diversity. Together, we create a workplace that brings the best out of everyone. Here at Volvo Construction Equipment & Services (VCES), we are motivated by the idea that with imagination, hard work and innovation we will lead the way towards developing a world that is cleaner, smarter, and more connected. We believe in a sustainable future.
The Dealer Digital & Technology Enablement Manager serves as the technology leader for Volvo Construction Equipment's owned dealer operations (VCES), ensuring technology, cybersecurity, compliance, business systems enablement, and digital capabilities support Volvo's and the dealership's strategic and operational objectives.
This role operates within Volvo's product-centric operating model, where core business systems, digital products, and product roadmaps remain owned by Volvo Product Organizations. The position acts as the bridge between dealership leadership and operations, Volvo Product Teams, Group Digital, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Data Privacy, managed service providers, and business leadership.
The role is accountable for the overall technology, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance posture of VCES while ensuring dealership employees receive responsive, customer-focused technology services and support.
As Volvo CE's owned dealer, VCES serves as both a high-performing retail business and a strategic innovation environment where future business processes, customer experiences, digital services, and technology solutions can be piloted, validated, and refined before broader deployment across the dealer network.
Key Accountabilities
Technology Strategy & Business Partnership:
- Serve as the primary technology advisor and business partner to VCES leadership and operations.
- Align dealership technology priorities with business needs and Volvo digital strategies.
- Translate business challenges into technology, data, and process improvement opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, operational efficiency, continuous improvement and customer experience.
Technology Operations & Service Delivery:
- Ensure reliable and effective IT service delivery across VCES locations, including end-user technology, infrastructure, connectivity, device lifecycle, access, and support.
- Manage and hold service providers accountable for service quality, responsiveness, performance, and user satisfaction.
- Coordinate technology onboarding, provisioning, lifecycle activities, and operational support.
- Ensure dealership technology remains stable, secure, and fit for business needs.
Cybersecurity, Risk, Privacy & Compliance:
- Lead VCES execution and governance of Volvo cybersecurity, data privacy, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with Volvo Cybersecurity, Group Digital, Privacy, Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to maintain appropriate controls and governance.
- Oversee access governance, vulnerability remediation, endpoint security, incident coordination, third-party risk, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Coordinate audits, assessments, remediation activities, and cybersecurity performance reporting.
Digital Products, Data & Business Enablement:
- Serve as the primary liaison between VCES users and Volvo Product Teams to maximize value from Volvo digital products and investments.
- Coordinate pilots, testing, deployments, organizational readiness, adoption, and dealer feedback.
- Identify and drive process improvements across sales, service, parts, rental, and administrative operations.
- Improve data quality, reporting, analytics, and operational visibility to support data-driven decision making.
Innovation & Model Dealer:
- Position VCES as a model dealer and innovation environment for Volvo CE.
- Lead and coordinate pilots involving emerging technology, AI, automation, digital services, customer experiences, and new ways of working.
- Measure business outcomes, capture lessons learned and recommend solutions with potential for broader dealer-network adoption.
Business Process Improvement & Data Enablement:
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes across sales, service, parts, rental, and administrative operations.
- Improve reporting maturity, data quality, and operational visibility.
- Partner with Volvo digital and data teams to leverage analytics and insights.
- Promote consistent business processes and technology utilization across dealership locations.
- Support data-driven decision making throughout the organization.
Who are you?
Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring the following:
Experience, Education, and Professional Qualifications Required for the Position:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Masters Degree preferred.

- Experience leading technology-enabled business improvement, innovation, or organizational change is preferred.
- Improvement mind set, self-motivated, independent and a team player with strong
Why this role exists
VCES requires a dedicated technology leader who can successfully bridge dealership operations, Volvo's product-centric digital model, and outsourced service delivery.
The role ensures VCES remains secure, compliant, innovative, and operationally effective while leveraging Volvo's investments in digital products, cybersecurity, governance, and enterprise technology capabilities.
Rather than creating a parallel IT organization, this role enables the dealership to consume, influence, and operationalize Volvo's digital ecosystem while maintaining the agility and customer focus required of a modern retail dealership.
What's in it for you?
We are pleased to offer a solid package of compensation and benefits. You will enjoy:
- Competitive base pay
- Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance
- Generous PTO
- Tax deferred retirement plans, varied by business; 401(K) with company match
- Global organization with expansive career growth opportunities
