Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Lead – Oracle ERP Implementation with strong Accounts Payable (AP) expertise to support complex Oracle Cloud Finance implementations for public sector clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Oracle functional leader who has successfully managed full lifecycle ERP deployments and thrives in enterprise financial transformation environments.

This position is hybrid, with one week onsite and one week remote, in Alexandria, VA.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Finance implementations with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP)

Manage requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment

Configure Oracle Finance modules including:

  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Procurement (PO)
  • Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)

Oversee AP-related data conversion, integrations, payment processing, and system interfaces

Create and maintain Configuration Workbooks and functional documentation

Support Projects and Grants module integration

Ensure compliance with public sector financial, audit, payment, and procurement requirements

Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and system integrators to ensure successful delivery

Required Qualifications

10+ years of Oracle ERP implementation experience

7+ years leading Oracle ERP full lifecycle deployments (including 2 Cloud Implementations)

Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Finance modules, especially Accounts Payable (AP)

Strong experience with:

  • Invoice processing
  • Supplier payments
  • Payment approvals and controls
  • Supplier setup and maintenance
  • 1099 processing
  • AP integrations
  • Data conversion
  • Financial controls

TWO years of Public sector accounting experience required

Experience managing complex integrations and enterprise financial systems

Ability to work hybrid schedule in Alexandria, VA, with alternating weeks on-site and remote

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle EBS R12 experience

MBA, CPA, PMP, or Oracle certifications preferred
