Job description

The Technical Data Lead will design, oversee, and ensure the execution of all technical aspects of data migration, including data analysis, cleansing, and conversion between systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all technical components of the data migration process.

  • Develop data migration architecture, methodologies, and technical plans.

  • Create, test, and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) scripts.

  • Validate mapping between legacy and new system data structures.

  • Work with the System Integrator to ensure proper data integration and reconciliation.

  • Oversee data cleansing and conversion processes for external sources.

  • Perform performance tuning and quality assurance on data conversion scripts.

  • Document procedures, error logs, and reconciliation reports.

  • Support post-implementation activities, including data validation and issue resolution.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data migration, data conversion, or database engineering.

  • Expertise in Oracle 19C, PL/SQL, ETL, and data integration tools.

  • Experience with large datasets, relational databases, and performance optimization.

  • Proven experience leading technical teams in migration projects.

  • Knowledge of data reconciliation, validation, and data audit methods.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and scripting skills.

Certification
