Position Overview
Manager of a team of analysts responsible for transforming data, reconciling variances and testing implementation of new technology platforms based on transformed data elements.
Key Responsibilities
Client Data Quality
  • Analyze Private Equity Fund Accounting data to accurately assess transformation effort
  • Oversee and train conversion analysts to increase their understanding of private equity fund accounting
  • Analyze business and technology requirements and guide analysts in efficient approach to conversion projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT and Client Service to gather data conversion requirements and address any challenges or questions.
  • Document conversion processes, mapping tables, and user guides to continue increasing efficiency and scale of project
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or other related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant Private Equity Fund/Investment Company Accounting & Reporting experience.
  • Ability and desire to manage and train junior staff to build a functional and efficient team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of accounting best practices within complex private equity fund structures.
  • Hands on experience accounting/audit of private equity funds.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills..
  • Ability to manage timelines and prioritize tasks within a team environment and escalate for assistance when timelines are in jeopardy.
  • Extensive Microsoft Excel skills - Pivots, formulas, macros (VBA) a plus.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate's experience level.
Work Arrangement
All applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services, LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note that all US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule, comprised of three (3) days a week in our office and two (2) days remotely.
