Job Summary:

The primary responsibilities of this role include analyzing and mapping data, developing data conversion plans, and ensuring data quality throughout the conversion process.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and map data from the old system to the new one.
• Develop and implement data conversion plans.
• Design and execute data validation and testing processes.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data conversion process.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other departments to define and prioritize data conversion requirements.
• Research and evaluate new data conversion technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Mentor and train other team members on data conversion best practices.
• Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress and status.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Ten (10)+ years of expertise and/or relevant experience in data analysis, mapping, and migration between legacy and modern systems
• Developing and implementing comprehensive data conversion plans
• Designing and executing data validation and testing processes
• Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout conversion projects
• Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional departments to define and prioritize data conversion requirements
Preferred:
• Prior experience with LADOTD data or other similar state applications
• Experience with data conversion tools, ETL platforms, and scripting languages.
