Job Description:The Role

The Clearing Conversion Data Manager plays a critical leadership role within Client Transition Services, accountable for converting and mapping data from external Clearing Platforms to National Financial Services on behalf of an introducing Broker dealer. This role leads complex, crossfunctional onboarding initiatives and serves as a subject matter expert driving digital efficiency, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.

Operating with significant independence, the Clearing Conversion Data Manager works with internal collaborators, Introducing Broker Dealers, and third-party vendors to define and implement data conversion strategies. They transform business and regulatory requirements into mapping documents for Technologists to develop programs to test and implement. They also influence platform and process improvements that affect many client transitions and business units.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 5 years of proven success in the financial services industry

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in complex, clientfacing onboarding, transition, and operational roles

  • FINRA Series 99 required or to have with 90 days; Series 7 highly preferred

  • Proven track record to lead sophisticated, crossfunctional initiatives with meaningful functional or divisional impact

  • Strong project and program management expertise, including oversight of multiple concurrent, timesensitive workstreams

  • Advanced technical proficiency in Excel and Access; SQL proficiency a plus, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

  • Advanced analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills applied to complex, nonroutine scenarios

  • Executive Presence with strong written and verbal communication skills, including capacity to convey moderate to complex technical concepts to varied audiences

  • Expertise in data intensive mapping, including requirements definition, testing coordination, change management, and ongoing performance oversight

  • Results oriented individual who can support challenging priorities while maintaining quality, risk oversight, and client experience standards

The Value You Deliver
  • Provide functional leadership and direction, serving as escalation point for complex onboarding, data mapping, documenting requirements and testing developed programs

  • Support data conversions across clearing platforms providing guidance to Introducing Broker Dealers,

  • Partner with Product Managers, Technology, Risk, and vendors to establish requirements, lead testing, deploy improvements, and maintain risk controls

  • Drive strategic digital onboarding and automation initiatives, coordinating requirements, UAT, production validation, and integrations within established procedures

  • Provide expert guidance to clients and internal partners including Sales, Relationship Managers, Project Managers on onboarding processes, workflows, and operational standards

  • Prepare dashboards and project plans to identify risks, trends, and operational improvement opportunities, lead the resolution of complex issues

  • Collaborate with Conversion Data Consultants, to support consistent execution across the team, and serve as backup to other Clearing Conversions to ensure continuity of operations

The Team

The Clearing Data Services team supports new and existing client onboarding events, ensuring accurate and timely account opening and asset conversion. The team consists of experienced Data Analysts responsible for converting data, setting up databases and mapping data accordingly with client specifications and regulatory standards. The team maintains relationships with internal business partners from Sales, Relationship Management, Client Experience, Operations, Product and Technology and plays a key role in ensuring workflows, controls, and product offerings align with business, compliance, and regulatory expectations. The team also supports enterprise digitalization by identifying opportunities and influencing onboarding strategy across IWMS.

The base salary range for this position is $66,000-125,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
