The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Compliance Manager to help guide the company's export compliance program and assist with governmental contracting. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing Lynx's compliance with governmental regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). The Compliance Manager will work closely with the legal team and cross functional teams to ensure operational compliance to support the Lynx's growth aligned to our strategic goals in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and administer Lynx's export compliance program, including developing and implementing training programs policies, and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct and manage third-party risk management, including ongoing monitoring of third-party relationships.
  • Develop and maintain policy for handling of controlled unclassified information (CUI).
  • Support negotiation of governmental contracts, including review of FAR/DFARS.
  • Enter contract data into appropriate forms and databases. Check existence, accuracy, and completeness of electronic documents related to contracts.
  • Review federal solicitations, requests for information and proposals, and identify business risks, documents the findings, and provides recommendations.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure key business processes are aligned with regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Oversee relationships with key outside advisors and legal counsel regarding regulatory compliance matters.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, preferably within the embedded software, professional services, technology or government contractor sectors.
  • A strong understanding of export compliance, government contracting regulations (FARs/DFARs), ITAR and related compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate insights and data into actionable recommendations for leaders and engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong working knowledge of export control compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce and LinkSquares.
