Job description

The Quality & Industrial Engineer has responsibilities that touch all aspects of manufacturing and distribution including procurement, manufacturing, service, shipping and pass through sales.   Frequent activities include developing ISO/TL 90000 compliant processes and procedures, developing product quality plans, participating in cross-functional teams, supporting operations on quality related issues, advocating for improvement initiatives and performing internal audits. 
 
Job Duties will include:
  • Create incoming, in process and finished goods test plans
  • Create Certificates of Analysis for outgoing product.
  • Promote and lead Kaizen activities and other quality improvement initiatives
  • Internal audits 
  • Outgoing product and packaging and label audits
  • Supplier audits
  • Hosting third party product certification audit.
  • Develop and deliver training on Quality documents and procedures. 
  • Participate in Cross functional product development and supplier management teams.
  • Review and approve documents
  • Data collection and report writing
 
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements 
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in a Technical Field, preferably engineering or a Physical Science.    
Experience and Skills 
  • 1 - 3 years in a role with applicable responsibilities
