While we can't reveal too much just yet, our team is tackling cutting-edge engineering challenges to bring revolutionary products to life.
About the Role
We are looking to hire a Data Collection Technician who has a strong blend of of customer service and operations experience. You'll be the welcoming face of our studies, ensuring participants have a positive experience from start to finish.
  • Provide exceptional participant support by greeting, onboarding, and guiding study participants through sessions with patience and professionalism.
  • Manage session logistics including setup, monitoring, and closeout while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for participants, answering questions, addressing concerns, and troubleshooting issues in real-time.
  • Maintain accurate records by documenting sessions thoroughly using digital tools and following established protocols.
  • Collaborate daily with the data collection team to ensure seamless workflows and flag any issues that need attention.
  • This is a full-time position at our location in either San Francisco or San Jose
Requirements
  • Schedule flexibility required: Must be available for early morning and evening shifts, and weekend work.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service mindset and interpersonal skills; you genuinely enjoy working with people.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable staying alert and responsive during long shifts.
  • Technically proficient and quick to learn new systems.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Notion, Airtable, MS Office & Google Workspace.
Strong candidates may have
  • Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, research, or lab operations.
  • Experience with scheduling or data management platforms.

  • Training: Training onsite is at our San Francisco HQ office (South Park)
  • Schedule: Evening and weekend availability required; must be willing to work between 6am and 10pm
  • Compensation: $22/hr (Non-exempt position, eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable law)
