Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure that all MEP plant and distribution infrastructure is operated and maintained in a safe manner, to best industry practice and within manufacturers recommendations.
  • Monitor power and environmental conditions within all critical spaces within the facility.
  • Perform assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with SF practices utilizing the internal CMMS.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling corrective maintenance activities
  • Escort and support outside contractors, ensuring they are abiding SF work rules and processes
  • Respond to site incidents, execute appropriate MOP/EOP documentation to resolve and/or mitigate issues and communicate to manage throughout event.
  • Support and follow all SF Change Control policies and procedures.
  • Perform site rounds and report any issues found to site management.
  • Participate in construction and commissioning activities as directed by site management
  • Adhere to all local, state and federal safety laws and requirements
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the management team
  • Participate in and support MOP/SOP/EOP documentation process for site.
  • Participate in and support the development of site policies and standards
  • Work with site team members to deliver 100% uptime of critical infrastructure
  • Experience working in a Data Center with proven success in delivering customer requirements in a critical technology environment
  • Evidence of self-management and alignment with ever-changing priorities
  • Good written and oral communication skills, tenacity, and working to a high level of accuracy
Required Skills
  • Operating and maintaining chilled water-cooling systems
  • Operating and maintaining DX cooling systems
  • Operating and maintaining backup electrical systems such as UPS and generators
  • Operating Building Management systems and Fire alarm and detection systems
  • Building facility maintenance
