The Sr. Clinical Research Data Associate works closely with the Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program team including nurse case managers and physicians.

Responsible for abstraction, collection, and review of patient specific clinical information. Interpret information (including appropriate source documentation) followed by entry into internal and external databases. Submit abstracted information to international registry for Transplant and Cellular Therapy using established reporting requirements.

Coordinate unrelated stem cell donor search requests. Maintain and communicate donor search progress to the clinical team. Coordinate procurement of unrelated donor stem cell products in accordance with the patient's transplant timeline. Serve a liaison between clinical team, Donor Center, and the NMDP.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of one year data collection or data management experience required.
High school education or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree in health science or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience combined (One year of experience equals one year of education) required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word required.
Excellent organizational skills required. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/responsibilities required.
Knowledge of clinical research and records review required.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
Computer literacy required. Ability to work effectively with other team members required.
Strong interpersonal skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oncology/hematology experience preferred.
Experience and/or knowledge of clinical trials and registry preferred.
Prior experience working with physicians preferred.
Bachelor's degree in health science or related field preferred.
Experience with web-based data entry systems (MediData, RAVE) preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Database system knowledge preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred.
Knowledge of Epic EMR preferred.
