The One-Year Data Assistant will support CRM data entry and maintenance. The Data Assistant will help address an existing backlog of communications requiring data entry while supporting ongoing data entry needs for the Prospect Development team.

This is a non-supervisory position.

The One-Year Data Assistant is expected to work a part-time (20 hours/week) schedule, and may work hybrid or remote from the following locations: San Francisco, CA or Remote U.S. The successful candidate will work for 12 months with an anticipated start date in late August or early September.

What You'll Do

Data Entry and Integrity (90%)

  • Monitor the communications data entry inbox and ensure all funder email correspondence and donor interactions are accurately entered into the CRM. In so doing, employ standards pertaining to donor privacy guidance.
  • Monitor project intake board for bulk communications entry requests, enter them into the CRM, and update project board.
  • Complete regularly scheduled data hygiene routines to ensure data integrity and track and report on metrics associated with this entry Ensure accuracy and timeliness of CRM records to support gift officer activity tracking and reporting.

Special Project Support (10%)

  • Complete special data entry projects, as assigned.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with Prospect Development.
  • Maintain clean, consistent, and reliable data entry standards.

Ongoing Learning

  • Actively pursue professional development and contribute to a culture of learning by building skills and sharing knowledge.

What You'll Bring
  • Relevant work experience in a data entry or processing role, preferably for at least one year.
  • Ability to manage high-volume, repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Experience working with a donor database or constituent relationship management system, Raiser's Edge or Blackbaud Enterprise CRM or similar fundraising software preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Displays good judgement in working with confidential information.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and newly identified sources with team and leading or participating in team projects.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills and experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.

The hourly rate of pay for this role in Denver, CO or Philadelphia, PA is $33.64 - $37.38
