What You Will Work On
Commercial electrical installations including tenant improvements, ground up construction, remodels, service upgrades, underground, conduit, wire, panels, switchgear, lighting, lighting controls, devices, equipment connections, low voltage pathways, data pathways, rough in, trim out, punch list, closeout, and final turnover.
Responsibilities
Install commercial electrical systems safely and professionally.
Work with foremen and field leadership to complete daily tasks.
Read and follow plans, details, layouts, and field direction.
Install conduit, wire, boxes, panels, devices, lighting, lighting controls, equipment connections, and related electrical systems.
Maintain clean work, safe work areas, and proper housekeeping.
Help track material needs, tools, equipment, and daily progress.
Communicate field conditions, missing material, plan conflicts, or jobsite issues to foremen.
Follow BLVD Electric quality, safety, and production standards.
Represent the company professionally with general contractors, inspectors, clients, vendors, and other trades.
What We Are Looking For
Commercial journeymen, lead electricians, and apprentices.
Commercial electrical experience preferred.
Ability to work safely, communicate clearly, and follow direction.
Ability to read plans preferred for journeyman and lead level electricians.
Experience with conduit, wire, panels, lighting, devices, rough in, trim out, and commercial installations.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to grow.
Basic hand tools required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
California Journeyman Certification preferred for journeyman level applicants.
Apprenticeship registration or trade school experience preferred for apprentice applicants, where applicable.
Pay
Apprentice Electricians: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour
Experienced Apprentices / Commercial Electricians: $26.00 to $34.00 per hour
Journeyman Electricians: $32.00 to $36.00 per hour
Lead Electricians / Strong Journeymen: $37.00 to $40.00 per hour
Pay is based on experience, certification level, commercial background, reliability, production ability, leadership ability, project assignment, and the level of responsibility the candidate can handle.
