Geode Capital Management is a global systematic investment manager headquartered in Bostonโ€™s financial district.

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Portfolio Analytics to join our Performance & Analytics Team. This role will assist with the architecture, development, and optimization of dataโ€‘driven solutions that support the analytical efforts measuring portfolio performance and benchmark tracking.

Reporting to the Director of Portfolio Analytics, you will partner with Portfolio Analysts, Quantitative Analysts, and technology teams to design, implement, and enhance technological solutions with enterprise data pipelines, delivering insights via interactive dashboards and advancing our investment and risk management capabilities.

Location: Boston, MA. This role requires inโ€‘office attendance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Monday and Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Modernize the portfolio performance and attribution platform by developing scalable, historyโ€‘aware data products that enable precise analysis.
  • Manage and recommend quarterly performance variance thresholds, index replicability, active risk thresholds and related portfolio parameters across passive portfolios.
  • Establish data quality and readiness standards for accuracy, lineage, versioning, and performance to ensure reliable, decisionโ€‘ready analytics.
  • Deliver analytics and quantitative solutions that provide prescriptive insights, predictive rootโ€‘cause analysis, and practical business context.
  • Enhance the teamโ€™s Python codebase through shared libraries, broader Snowflake adoption, performance optimization, and Tableau/Power BI dashboard development.
  • Serve as a technology liaison to align tools, processes, and practices with firmโ€‘wide requirements and bestโ€‘practice standards.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Python, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI to deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Mentor junior analysts and promote innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with technology and business teams to align priorities, strengthen communication, and advance analytics initiatives.
  • Promote standardized, scalable, consistent, and reliable analytics solutions across the enterprise.
Skills You Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a related technologyโ€‘focused role within equity asset management.
  • Strong understanding of the investment management lifecycle.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Handsโ€‘on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Expertise building and optimizing largeโ€‘scale data models using structured and unstructured data.
  • Strong data visualization and BI experience, including impactful dashboards and analytics solutions.
  • Statistical analysis experience preferred.
  • Excellent problemโ€‘solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical solutions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a record of delivering highโ€‘quality analytics under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communicator who can explain complex technical concepts to technical and nonโ€‘technical audiences.
  • Collaborative, intellectually curious, and passionate about technology innovation.
Pay Range

$145,000 - $165,000 per year
