Job description

Job Summary:
In this Sales Analytics Internship, you will gain hands-on experience in business analytics, one of the most in-demand skill areas in today's workforce. You will work closely with both internal and external sales teams, gaining valuable insight into sales strategies, data analysis, and business decision-making. This role also provides excellent opportunities to connect with department leaders and professionals across the organization, helping you build your network and learn from experienced industry experts.
What you will be doing:
  • Analyze business data and complete independent projects that support sales and commercial operations goals.

  • Collaborate with team members to gather, organize, and structure data for meaningful analysis.

  • Build and enhance business models using analytical and statistical methods to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Summarize findings and develop recommendations to help guide business decisions.

  • Present project insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Support associates across the organization by completing ad hoc reports, analyses, and special projects.

  • Learn and utilize company business systems to provide data-driven support to internal teams and Sales Associates.

  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to ongoing team initiatives and operations.

In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience turning data into actionable insights that support sales and business decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze trends, and help identify opportunities for improvement while strengthening your analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. What you need to be considered for the role:
  • Student in Junior or Senior status pursuing a bachelor's degree in, Marketing, Statistics, Finance or other related field requiring analytical skills.

  • Data Management - Experience in accurately working with and managing large numbers of files and data utilizing either a commercially available or proprietary software system

  • Computer Systems - Must have broad experience in working with the full suite of Microsoft Office products, including advanced skills levels with Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Analysis - Demonstrated results completing self-directed analysis of information and development of conclusions and management recommendations is desired

  • Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency, accountability, and initiative.

  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
