About the role:We are seeking an exceptional Senior Data Analyst to join our Garner Connect team. You will work on the core systems that power our provider facing products. You will own our financial ROI model, the product analytics, & the data analytics strategy for a new provider product. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping how we use data to steer members to better healthcare outcomes, partnering with product managers and engineers to deliver high performing systems at scale. Garner's member app guides members through their healthcare journey to ensure they receive high quality care while ensuring provider affordability and availability.
Where you will work:This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:- Identify and measure success of a new financial product, including financial ROI, performance guarantees, and performance reporting
- Own projects end to end including problem definition, implementation, validation, & iteration
- Research, develop, and maintain data framework, including data pipelines, statistical models, and advanced analytical solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data, product, engineering and operations teams to shape how we define product and provider engagement metrics, and model provider behavior
- Synthesize and present your work to Garner leadership to drive company level decisions
- Contribute to improving data analytics practices, tooling, and documentation
The ideal candidate has:- 3+ years of experience in performing data, financial and/or risk analytics in a healthcare environment
- 2+ years of experience using SQL to query, analyze, and manipulate data, including experience with one or more semantic technologies (dbt, Power BI, or similar)
- 2+ years of experience working with Business Intelligence and visualization tools including Looker, Power BI, Tableau etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present information and analysis results effectively
- A demonstrated ability to independently solve difficult problems and deliver high quality results to senior stakeholders
- Deep expertise in value-based care, population health, or clinical risk adjustment, with a nuanced understanding of healthcare data (claims, network & contracting, social determinants of health)
- A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
- Preferred: Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), or on the track to become one.

Compensation Transparency:The target salary range for this position is $167,000 - $200,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.
