Where You'll Make a Difference
  • Support data-focused project work across research, operations, or digital innovation teams.
  • Assist with data collection, cleaning, structuring, and documentation from multiple sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, and system outputs).
  • Under supervision, curate data, build models, create-reports, dashboards, or simple applications to support analysis and decision-making.
  • Help document, improve, or automate business and technical processes.
  • Develop an understanding of internal IFF probiotic R&D projects.
  • Participate in role-specific training and development sessions.
  • Collaborate with experienced research associates and scientists.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and good laboratory notebook practices.

What Makes You the Right Fit
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited university or college.
  • Sophomore or above in a bachelor's program, or first-year student in a master's program.
  • Pursuing a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Microbiology or a related technical field.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred or demonstrated projects.
  • Ability to work according to the co-op schedule structure:
    • A minimum of 16 hours/week but up to Full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer, and
    • A minimum of 16 hours/week during the academic term, following a set schedule.
  • Eligible to work in the United States in accordance with applicable employment authorization requirements, including student visa programs.

  • Prior experience with statistical analysis, data analysis, data engineering, process improvement, or technical project work (academic, co-op, internship, or personal projects).
