Position Title: Data Analyst (Information Technology)

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time
Job Summary:
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support IT operations and business decision-making. This role works closely with IT and cross-functional teams to identify trends, improve system performance, and provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
ยท Collect, clean, and analyze data from IT systems and business applications
ยท Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
ยท Monitor system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
ยท Support IT projects by providing data insights and analysis
ยท Collaborate with internal teams to understand data needs and requirements
ยท Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security standards are maintained
ยท Document processes, data definitions, and reporting methods
Qualifications:
ยท Bachelorโs degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
ยท 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within an IT environment
ยท Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
ยท Understanding of databases and data structures
Physical Requirements:
ยท Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
ยท Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment
ยท Ability to view computer screens for extended periods
ยท Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, or lift up to 10โ15 pounds (e.g., office equipment or files)
