Tableau Subject Matter Expert (SME) Position Overview The Prospective Group (TPG) is seeking a highly skilled Tableau Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, develop, and maintain advanced business intelligence and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Tableau and data visualization best practices, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This role collaborates closely with business and technical stakeholders to develop scalable reporting solutions, optimize data delivery, and drive data-driven business outcomes. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. * Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and meaningful visualizations. * Perform data modeling, including the creation of dimensions, measures, calculated fields, and data relationships. * Connect, integrate, and manage data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems. * Develop and optimize Tableau workbooks, extracts, and data pipelines for performance, scalability, and usability. * Administer and support Tableau Server environments, including security, governance, publishing, and user access management. * Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities that support organizational objectives. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative reporting and analytics solutions. * Establish and promote business intelligence best practices, data governance standards, and visualization guidelines. * Provide end-user training, documentation, and support to improve Tableau adoption and data literacy across the organization. * Leverage emerging Tableau capabilities, including AI-powered features and analytics tools, to enhance reporting and decision-making processes.
