Job description

Convert data from all forms into usable data for First Students Operation Products. Adheres to standard operating procedures around route and student mgmt. system, ensures accurate submission, and uploads and maintains the route & Student data for all First Student products used by FS Locations and School Districts. Play a support role around data converted into First Student products

Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform the processes for converting route data from all forms (3rd party systems data exports, MS-Excel documents, etc.) into FS platforms.
  • Perform Data Validation and Analysis on data loaded by process and provide feedback to First Student locations to achieve business goals.
  • Play a support role for First Student Products for locations to work with Application Development Teams for resolution.
  • Manages time effectively, prioritizing, and escalating tasks and issues as necessary.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned including help with special projects.
  • Determines how to convert route information into usable data that conforms to First Student system according to the data requirements.
  • Problem solving data issues related to data integration process into FS products
  • Ability to determine when to escalate to Customer, Operations or IT.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, MIS, Computer Science or related field.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (Oral/Written)
  • Excellent Customer Satisfaction Skills
  • Ability to work multiple projects
  • Proficient in MS-Excel and macro building. Knowledge of MS Access is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of relational database experience, specifically with SQL and/or Oracle a plus
  • Working knowledge of routing concepts and/or any commercial mapping software tools.

Compensation ranges from $50,000 - $55,000 starting depending on experience.
