Job Summary

Are you the type of person that enjoys creating actionable data-driven insights? In this role you will work with data from the various systems and applications used to run our operations business to create dashboards, actionable reports and visualization to help the operation teams make data-driven business decisions. We’re looking for a person that can wrangle data, apply statistical analysis, and create dynamic visualizations using tools like Structured Query Language (SQL) and Power BI.


What You’ll Do

  1. Identify trends and correlations using probabilities, distributions, simple linear regression, or other statistical techniques.

  2. Create data visualizations and reports to convey facts and findings.

  3. Wrangle data stored in relational databases, flat files, and non-relational databases.

  4. Produce business insights through participating in continuous discovery, stakeholder engagement, and documentation to enhance data literacy.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.

  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and data storage technologies, and how to extract information from these sources using query languages (SQL and/or KQL).

  • Experience using tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Python, and Databricks.

  • General understanding of manufacturing business processes preferred.

No travel is expected of this position.


Work Location

ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
