Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Data Analyst Intern to support manufacturing reporting, data analysis, and operational visibility initiatives across production environments. The ideal candidate willย assistย with building reports and dashboards,ย maintainingย clean andย accurateย manufacturing data, and supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES) workflows and continuous improvement efforts. This role will serve as a supporting member of the Manufacturing Execution Systems team, working closely with production, quality, engineering, and operations personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills, an interest in manufacturing systems and operations, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.ย 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:ย 

  • Support manufacturing reporting and KPI tracking activitiesย ย 
  • Assist with SQL queries, data extraction, and data validation effortsย ย 
  • Build andย maintainย Power BI dashboards and recurring operational reportsย ย 
  • Support MES-related data workflows and manufacturing system activitiesย ย 
  • Helpย maintainย data accuracy, structure, and data hygiene standardsย ย 
  • Analyze production and operational data toย identifyย trends and improvement opportunitiesย ย 
  • Assistย with documenting reporting workflows and data processesย ย 
  • Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and operations teams to support data-driven decision makingย ย 
  • Support ad hoc analysis and operational improvement initiatives as neededย ย 
  • Work onsite with manufacturing teams and systems in a production environmentย ย 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:ย 

  • Pursuing aย Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or related fieldย ย 
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databasesย ย 
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis conceptsย ย 
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization/reporting toolsย ย 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsย ย 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentย ย 
  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking mindsetย ย 
  • Self-starter with willingness to learn manufacturing systems and workflowsย ย 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skillsย ย 
  • U.S. Citizenshipย ย 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:ย 

  • Exposure to manufacturing, production, or industrial environmentsย ย 
  • Familiarity with MES, ERP, or QMS systemsย ย 
  • Experience creating dashboards or visual reportsย ย 
  • Exposure to PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database platformsย ย 
  • Basic scripting or automation experience (Python or similar)ย
