Job Description
  • Extract and review monthly datasets for accuracy, validity and data integrity. Maintenance of report templates and production of performance reports.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and assist in detailed analysis for areas of focus in the performance of business units.
  • Build and enhance processes to iteratively improve the quality and efficiency of department deliverables
  • Conduct data analysis, data integration, and data management
  • Identify and develop new data sources and structure data models for monthly performance analysis and annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Plan and conduct small, short-term projects involving department subject matter experts and IT Department that focuses on improving processes and availability of data.

Qualifications
  • Advanced User of Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in SQL, data manipulation, and trend analysis in an OLAP environment
  • Ability to solve problems thoroughly, quickly and creatively with an eye for detail
  • Hands-on experience in all aspects of data management activities involving large data sets(e.g., data gathering and profiling, data analysis, test data creation, data validation, and issue resolution)
  • Ability and knowledge to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical associates, data users, managers, and other stakeholders
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a data management and analytics role. Experience in Finance or Accounting in the banking industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, engineering, math or computer-science related program
